Jesus said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” Matthew 9:37-38
Be a Harvester for the Lord
As a Harvester in the Lord's vineyard, we challenge you to live the Gospel of Jesus by loving unconditionally those the Lord has placed in our lives. To truly love another is to bring them to Christ. And the best thing we can do for another is to pray for them. Your commitment to the movement is simple. Pick three people that you feel need to know the love of Christ in a deeper way and begin to pray for these people daily. The prayer you use is based on 1 Corinthians 13:
Dear Lord I know that real love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. Lord, please help (Name the person) to come to know your love in a deeper way and make me an instrument of that love.
